About This Project
This HOA community in Sarasota County needed a new lap pool for their clubhouse — a facility that would serve hundreds of residents and needed to meet Florida commercial pool codes, ADA accessibility requirements, and HOA architectural standards. Pool Creations was selected as the contractor based on our experience with commercial and HOA pools throughout Southwest Florida.
The pool was designed as a standard-length lap pool with blue mosaic waterline tile, a concrete deck with lounge seating, and ADA-compliant entry handrails. A full aluminum screen enclosure was built around the pool to provide shade, debris management, and insect control — essential for a community pool used year-round in Southwest Florida's climate.
Commercial-grade Pentair equipment was installed: a variable-speed pump, commercial cartridge filter, salt chlorination system, and IntelliTouch automation. The automation system allows the HOA's property management team to monitor and control the pool remotely. Pool Creations managed all commercial permits with Sarasota County's building department and coordinated with the HOA's management company to complete the project on schedule with minimal disruption to residents.
