Pool Maintenance &
Equipment Service
Serving Sarasota, Manatee & Charlotte Counties. We service all brands of pool equipment — whether we built your pool or not.
Pool Equipment Service You Can Count On
Pool Creations has been installing and servicing pool equipment across Southwest Florida since 2013. We are a Pentair Certified installer and authorized service provider for all major equipment brands — Pentair, Hayward, Jandy, Zodiac, Sta-Rite, Raypak, Waterway, and more.
Florida's climate is demanding on pool equipment. Intense UV, heat, and year-round use accelerate wear on pumps, filters, heaters, and sanitizers. Regular equipment service prevents costly failures, extends equipment life, and keeps your pool running efficiently.
We service pools throughout Sarasota, Manatee, and Charlotte Counties — and you don't need to have purchased your equipment from us. We service all brands on all pools.

Pool Equipment & Maintenance Services
Water Chemistry & Chemical Balancing
Proper water chemistry is the foundation of a healthy pool. We test and balance pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness, cyanuric acid, and sanitizer levels to keep your water safe, clear, and comfortable. Florida's heat and sun demand more frequent attention than pools in other states — we know exactly what your pool needs year-round.
Equipment Inspection & Service
We inspect and service all pool equipment — pumps, filters, heaters, heat pumps, automation systems, and sanitizers. As a Pentair Certified installer and an authorized service provider for all major brands (Hayward, Jandy, Zodiac, Sta-Rite, Raypak), we identify issues before they become expensive failures.
Filter Cleaning & Backwashing
Sand, cartridge, and DE filters all require regular cleaning to maintain proper flow and filtration efficiency. A dirty filter strains your pump, reduces water clarity, and shortens equipment life. We clean and service all filter types.
Pump & Motor Service
Variable-speed pumps are the most energy-efficient option for Florida pools, and they require periodic inspection and calibration to perform at their best. We service all pump brands and can upgrade older single-speed pumps to modern variable-speed models that can reduce energy costs by up to 90%.
Saltwater System Service
Salt chlorine generators (SCGs) require regular cell inspection, cleaning, and calibration. We service all major SCG brands including Pentair IntelliChlor, Hayward AquaRite, Jandy TruClear, and Zodiac AquaPure. Proper salt cell maintenance extends cell life and ensures consistent sanitization.
Water Loss & Plumbing Concerns
Unexplained water loss is one of the most common pool problems in Southwest Florida. We use pressure testing and dye testing to identify leaks in the shell, plumbing, fittings, and equipment pad — and we repair what we find.
We Install & Service All Major Brands
No matter who made your equipment or who installed it — we service it.

Save Up to 90% on Energy Costs
Older single-speed pumps are the single biggest energy consumer in most pool systems. Upgrading to a variable-speed pump can reduce pump energy costs by up to 90% — and most homeowners recoup the investment within 2–3 years.
We also upgrade heaters to modern heat pumps, install salt chlorine generators, add LED lighting, and integrate full automation systems that let you control your entire pool from your smartphone.

Does Pool Creations offer weekly pool cleaning services?
Yes. Pool Creations provides residential and commercial weekly pool service for select pools in Venice, Venice Island, Casey Key, Manasota Key, Wellen Park, and nearby areas. Weekly service may include water testing, chemistry balancing, skimming, brushing, basket cleaning, filter checks, and equipment observation. Service availability is subject to route capacity and property review. Visit our Weekly Pool Service page or contact us to discuss your property.
What pool equipment brands does Pool Creations service?
We install and service all major brands of pool equipment, including Pentair, Hayward, Jandy, Zodiac, Sta-Rite, Raypak, Waterway, and others. You do not need to have purchased your equipment from us — we service pools and equipment regardless of who built or installed them.
How do I know if my pool water chemistry is off?
Common signs include cloudy or green water, eye or skin irritation after swimming, strong chlorine smell (often a sign of too little free chlorine, not too much), scaling on tile or equipment, or staining on the pool surface. If you notice any of these, contact us for a water chemistry evaluation.
How often should pool equipment be serviced in Florida?
Florida's climate — intense UV, heat, and year-round use — puts more stress on pool equipment than in other states. We recommend a full equipment inspection at least once a year, with filter cleaning every 3–6 months depending on use and bather load. Salt cells should be inspected every 3 months.
Can you upgrade my old pool equipment to more energy-efficient models?
Yes. We specialize in equipment upgrades, including replacing single-speed pumps with variable-speed models, upgrading to modern salt chlorine generators, installing energy-efficient heat pumps, and adding automation systems that let you control everything from your phone. Equipment upgrades often pay for themselves in energy savings within 2–3 years.
