About This Project
The beachfront properties along the Venice and Nokomis coastline present unique challenges for pool maintenance and renovation. Salt air, high humidity, and the intense Florida sun accelerate wear on pool surfaces and decks — and the high-traffic use typical of resort and condominium pools means that materials need to be durable, slip-resistant, and easy to maintain.
Pool Creations completed a series of renovations for beachfront resort and condominium properties in the Venice / Nokomis area, including full pool shell resurfacing, grand paver deck renovation, and staircase replacement. The grand staircase project — with its large-format travertine-style pavers and iron railings — was designed for high-traffic resort use while maintaining the aesthetic character of the beachfront property.
For the condominium pool resurfacing projects, Pool Creations applied a fresh plaster finish, updated the coping, and installed new paver surrounds. All projects were completed with minimal disruption to residents and guests, and Pool Creations managed all permits with the City of Venice and Sarasota County.
